alicia wright was born and raised in appalachia and studied english and creative writing at marietta college and bowling green state university in ohio. she runs pictura journal and has worked for mid-american review and rabble lit. she currently lives in west virginia. find her on instagram here.

recent work has appeared in sontag mag, thimble, eunoia review, the crawfish, and same faces collective. other work is forthcoming in untelling, northern appalachia review, and river & south review. she is the recipient of an oak ledge residency at hindman settlement school in the hills of eastern kentucky.
